| Beschreibung: | Short Description:
We need a self-motivated person for a challenging position. You will receive training but need to be able to work independently.
Key tasks include: Processing of payments and other banking matters; Data entry of accounting information into ledger, record keeping, etc. Handling petty cash transactions; Communication with our Project bookkeepers in the various countries where we work. Regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, revaluation of foreign currency accounts; preparation of quarterly reports for departments and projects as well as monthly payroll reports; Processing information to and from our NGO group's International Clearing House; Prepare closing entries for the financial year and complete books for external audit.
Requirements:
Ideally accounting training and/or experience would be helpful, but someone who is good at handling details and working with figures could be trained for this role. Basic Microsoft Office computer skills are essential, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel would be especially useful.
