Developers are needed to work on OpenPetra, an Open Source Software Project initiated by OM (www.openpetra.org). It will eventually replace OM's current in-house software package, Petra, which is used in over 90 locations worldwide and is vital for the stability and upkeep of OM's administration records and financial Systems

You would be involved in the design and development process. Other tasks could include documentation and testing. Main technologies being used are C#, .NET framework, Mono, PostgreSQL RDBMS.

- Experience with C# and .NET would be ideal. If not then similar languages like Java or C++ are helpful.

- Database application development experience would be helpful though not essential.

- We need someone to serve for a minimum of one year, although longer would be a huge help.

If you like to work in a team and have experience of object-oriented development then we would like to talk to you. We would prefer you to work in our Carlisle office but please speak to us about possibilities of working remotely.
