Contribution to Strategy: Occasional day trips with the Rio de Huila Public Health team. In view of the high incidence of HIV/AIDS in Angola every ministry of SIM is impacted by this serious situation. Whatever assignment SIM personnel fulfill the challenge of HIV/AIDS must always be remembered.

Ministry: HM- Physician, Various Specialties

Responsibilities: Participate in outpatient consultations, ward visits and surgeries under the supervision of SIM missionary Dr. Stephen Foster. Your level of training and competency in Portuguese will determine your activities to a certain extent. This is primarily at the Evangelical Medical Center of Lubango (CEML), with occasional trips to rural clinics and hospitals. The CEML is owned and operated by the Alliance of Evangelicals in Angola (AEA) and has various international partners.
