- Find placements for prospective missionaries

- Correspond with appointees

- Conduct orientation with new arrivalsand oversee mentoring

- Make sure missionaries are well cared for

- Follow up on annual reviews and end of terms

- Keep data bases up-to-date

- Help missionaries in practical ways
