Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, has a unique history of vibrant Jewish presence, with prominent themes of pain and redemption through the tragedy of Holocaust. Driven by compassion and love for people who have not yet experienced the reconciling power of the Gospel, we want to share the Good News on the streets of this historical city, reaching Jews, Poles, and other nations. Serving alongside a team of believers from a Jewish background, you’ll have an opportunity to experience street evangelism, be trained and explore creative forms of outreach. You will grow spiritually as a follower of Christ, as we labor together with God.

Life from the Dead is an evangelistic campaign organized by OM in Poland, together with JFJ (Jews for Jesus), CMJ (Church's Ministry among Jewish People) and in co-operation with local churches. It includes orientation and training, local OM ministry exposure, and joining a larger international team for street outreach to Jews, Poles and other nationalities, and special events focused on the themes of life, hope and reconciliation in the unique historical context of modern Warsaw. First stage of this project took place in Warsaw in August 2021. During 20 days 25 people gave out 80 000 tracts and held almost 2 000 conversations, gathered 300 contacts for follow-up work oand prayed with more than 60 people leading them to the Lord.

Every day of the campaign will start from a time of worship, prayer and Word of encouragement.

Every meal will be an opportunity to have fellowship and share testimonies.

Apart from street outreach, there will be other evangelistic events organised, i.e. an exhibition, seminars, concerts, a meeting to honour the Righteous Among the Nations, etc. in which campaigners will also take part.

We invite participants who are:

• interested in getting to know Poland as a mission field

• have a heart for the lost and are willing to share the Gospel with strangers (perhaps for the first time - we’ll train you and help you prepare!)

• convinced that Jews also need to believe in Jesus – the Messiah

• can communicate in English or Polish

• flexible and teachable, willing to work with a team

• excited to experience an international environment (participants will come from Poland, USA, UK, Israel, Germany, Hungary, Finland, Ukraine and other countries)

• healthy and fit enough to be able to participate in 3 outreaches a day – spending about 8h on the streets of Warsaw or with supporting events

Before the campaign participants will be asked to go through an online training consisting of 8 pre-recorded webinars.
