Do you have a vision for Eastern and Central Europe with a passion for mobilising for missions and recruiting for WEC?

 

Aim of role:

To encourage and facilitate the church in Eastern and Central Europe to send new workers to reach the unreached.

 

Key components of this role: vision, research, networking, coordinating, developing a strategy

 

Activities:

*Develop together with and Experienced couple and WEC’s Area Directors Europe a strategy to accomplish the aim stated above.

*Consider how WEC might best serve the church in their mission vision and activities.

* Network with like-minded mission agencies to learn where/how they work in Eastern and Central Europe and explore possibilities for inter-agency cooperation.

* Attend key mission events in Eastern and Central Europe.

* Research the mission training programmes provided by training colleges, and look for ways that WEC might help through Cornerstone, teaching opportunities etc.

* Follow up known contacts, e.g. Cornerstone past students, CLC, Soon, etc.

* Keep informed about new enquiries that WEC branches receive from Eastern and Central Europe.

* Encourage WEC branches to connect with Christians from Eastern and Central Europe who are living near them.

* Work closely with the experienced couple based in Germany and WEC’s Area Directors for Europe.
