Contribution to Strategy: Mentoring and discipling youth and children are priorities for SIM Ghana. The Bible Church of Africa, SIM's partner church, is growing and youth make up about 70% of the church. Most of them have a limited knowledge of the Word of God, but the future of the church depends on youth well grounded in the Word.

Ministry: YY- Youth Ministry

Responsibilities: Serving as a catalyst, mentor, and facilitator for the youth, helping organize youth activities, discipling youth, leading Bible studies for youth within the church, training youth leaders. Reaching out to youth outside the church.

Ministry 2: CP- Church Planting

Other Ministry Possibilities: Training youth in vocational skills; e.g., computer training, teaching English. Also opportunity for sports ministry.

Post secondary diploma.

Required training: Some training in youth work would be helpful.

Recommended Experience: Experience in leading a youth group or as a youth pastor would be helpful.

Personality Issues/ Cultural Considerations:: Flexible, easy going, enjoys interacting with people from a different culture, learner's attitude.
